This park is located on the top of the cliff so there is a fair bit of surf noise. The views are amazing though and almost every site has a view. There is no pool due to the beach being close and there is no playground for the kids. There is a playground close to the beach though.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $40 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, book swap available, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Noisy, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- The location overlooking the ocean is amazing. The cleanliness of the amenities and camp kitchen are excellent.
Parking:- At the front of the office.
Local Information:- There is a general store across the road that sells almost everything. Good fish and chips. The Fat Fish café is close by and does good coffee. It also does meals which are a bit pricey. Café 66 in Port Macquarie is an Italian restaurant that does good coffee and delicious meals.
Road Conditions:- Good roads.

Another pleasant few days spent here watching the whales migrating south. Price is now $40/night powered 2A. Michelle & Greg (managers) & Keith (cleaner/gardener) are leaving the park on 1/11/17. We hope the new managers maintain the previous high standards. Concrete garden bollards have been built on some of the steeper sites to prevent vans rolling into the sea if not braked/chocked properly

Another 10 days happily spent at this park with panoramic ocean views. 168 mls of rain in a couple of days did not turn this park to mud. It is a very rainproof park. The price to pay for the view is wind so do not go away and leave your awning out. Your awning may leave you. All else from my earlier report still applies.

Another pleasant 2 weeks spent at this great park. Price is $39/night shoulder period with 7th night free. All previous comments still apply. 12 sites, which previously were on a hillside, have recently been leveled off, new power heads, water & sullage supplied at a cost to the park of $200K. Each new site has been terraced, making it level, more accessible, backing onto an attractive sandstone retaining wall & all with great ocean views. The new sites have no slabs and the grass cover is struggling because the sites have become very popular. 3 of the older sites now have matting in the annex area.

This park is well cared for and maintained. We are told that significant money has been spent on it in the last few years. The amenities block seems new or new-ish and is well maintained. There is only one amenities block, centrally located. Because the park is small this is adequate, probably even in peak season. Near the brow of a hill, the park has great ocean views from many sites, none of which are level. The penalty for hillside ocean views and a small park are sites which are difficult to access. A typical 6 metre van cannot be reversed onto some of the sites because of access, not because the sites are too small. Many of the sites are generous in area but impossible to get enough swing for reversing. This provides entertainment as newly arriving couples shout exchanges using words not normally heard. This seems to happen immediately prior to them starting divorce proceedings. This park is part of the North Coast Holiday Parks group. At approx. $37 per night it is not cheap but the location is good. Water pressure in our van was only just adequate. For non caravaners, or the moderately wealthy, there are 3 spacious, well appointed fabric buildings (up market tents) for glamping. They are very well received by the occupants and a deck at the front of each provides an entertainment platform to view multiple reverse parking attempts.
Friendly staff. Reasonable value for money. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good. Mostly unlevel sites, sites will accommodate small to medium vans, very few annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, dump point, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 1. Quiet. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- There is a pleasant ambiance about this park.
Disliked:- Reversing into almost any site is very difficult unless you are towing something as short as a camper trailer.
Parking:- There is only room for one rig at a time but that is usually enough.
Local Information:- Food at the nearby tavern is good and reasonably priced. The local bowling club has a good reputation but we must have arrived on a day when the 'B' team was on. The food tasted pre prepared and there was some noisy raffle that continued for the duration of our visit. There are numerous coffee shops around, many of which are well worth a visit.
