Lovely green park with large sites, most of them are drive through. Clean amenities and laundry in very good condition with large showers and plenty of hot water. Very nice pool area.

We intended to stay at the other park in town, (Mitchell) as it read better on this website, but it was booked out. I'm glad it was. I suspect Kidman's is better. Its location, 6 km out of town is the only disadvantage. From the flowering white rosebushes to the strategically planted trees dividing the generous grassy sites, this park is value at $35 2A per night. Ablution blocks were clean, in good condition and well maintained, offering oodles of hot water in the showers. There are plenty of huge drive through sites for over nighters but the park fills from 3.30pm till dark.

Mmmm, there are some hard markers out there. I thought this park was great. It is an oasis in the outback. The pool complex is as good as anywhere..remember, this is Bourke. The amenities, whilst clean will probably need a " revamp " in the not too distant future. Otherwise Great. Be sure to visit The Outback Exhibition at the Information Centre, it is very, very good.

Bit of a drive out of town. This seems to be an oasis with lush lawns, gardens and shady trees but mostly around the cabins. Internal roads are dirt and dust. We paid $102 2A 3 nights drive through powered site. Given a map to choose our own site but there is numbering system. All amenities were clean, no shower curtain meant a wet drying area. Very poor night lighting and no connecting pathways, so you walked through others sites. Disappointed. Poetry on a Plate and the Outback Show are brilliant.

A lovely green oasis in the dry outback. Friendly hard working staff keeping the park clean and tidy. A first class pool area and very clean camp kitchen. The Bush poet and campfire dinner was a real treat, not to be missed even if you have to stay an extra day or two.
