Loved this park-Sawtell is a lovely town and just far enough away from Coffs Harbour. Lovely drives to Dorrigo and Bellingen. Used the back roads-pretty drive. We have been waiting for some time to come to Sawtell and will definitely come again.
$260 for 2A. Sites will accommodate medium to large vans.
Liked:- Open park with lots of room.Very friendly staff, amenities very clean and well maintained-best Wi-Fi I have come across - available in camp kitchen and close by sites-no limit and fast. New camp kitchen with 3 bbqs-2 ovens-2 microwaves-plenty of seating and always clean.Clean amenities with plenty of hot water-6 showers 6 toilets and 5 showers in mens, not busy while we were there.
Disliked:- Drying area in showers gets very wet. Had problems with TV in camp kitchen no C7 or ABC and someone had knocked the controls off.
Parking:- Parking available opposite office.
Added Touches:- Egg and bacon roll brekkie on Fridays
Local Information:- Main street has heaps of eateries, 2 clubs and a pub. Good coffee available at mobile cart at lookout most days. Small shops in main street worth a look.
Road Conditions:- Good roads.

I stayed on ensuite site number 5, which another correspondent suggested be avoided. It would be tricky to get a caravan onto this site (and also the adjoining site 6) but for a small motorhome it was fine, although west facing, with no shade until after 5.30pm, so hot in the afternoon, even with the awning out. The park is well maintained. It is unusual in that the community hall is located in the park, and the playground is also the local community playground, so lots of young mums and their kids come daily to enjoy the swings and roundabouts. The tariff for the ensuite site was $52 for one adult (same price for couples). I paid $46.80 per night because of the Top Tourist discount. The deposit for the ensuite key was $20, refundable to your credit card if you paid for it that way, refundable in cash if you paid cash. The ensuite was a reasonable design, so you did have room to move. Unfortunately, mine was full of grass clippings that must have blown under the door and there was an ant's nest in there somewhere. I would stay again, for a few days. I used my Telstra mobile broadband and signal strength was 3. The park is marginally suitable for mobility impaired persons.
