Average staff friendliness, no complaints. Poor value for money $38 for 1A, powered, shoulder season. Paid $34.20, reduced for Chain Discount. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, poor night lighting, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites. Good laundry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodafone, reception quality was 4. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade. Good playground, in good condition. Suitable for few days.
Disliked:- Site had two paved wheel tracks but they were on a slight hill and the water had washed away most of the material on the side which meant you had a dangerous slope when getting out of your van. Next door lady took a tumble as the step slid out from under her. Normally stay at City Park thru the roundabout on the right.

A great welcome and very obliging staff. Easy to access site and good park facilities. Appeared more aimed at younger travelers. Overall good facilities. A couple of gripes (see below). Traffic noise from Newell Highway although this did not keep us awake too much.

Good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available.. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean pool, heated, kid-safe pool area, toddlers catered for. Liked:- Welcoming staff, basic park layout, easy access to site, good amenities and great bbq facilities in the camp kitchen with all cleaning equipment provided (which people used).
Disliked:- The concrete strips on our drive through site were uneven and had moved - not a big issue but could be tidied up. Biggest problem was a lack of paths to facilities from some areas of park. Always ended up tramping muck into the van as paths to facilities were on other side of where most vans are parked.
Added Touches:- Only overnighting so didn't look into any of these.
Local Information:- No as only overnighting but Dubbo has a number of attractions including the Western Plains Zoo and the Old Dubbo Goal
Road Conditions:- On Newell Highway.

We were allocated the row at the back of the property giving us reduced road noise. Good! Even with a 6m van (typical by today's standards) we just fitted the site. Bad! The tap/drain installations are inconvenient in some sites such that they can be right in the middle of the annex or awning...interesting. You must consider carefully before locating you van. If you place your van wrongly on some sites you will not be able to extend the awning or annex because of trees.

Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- A pleasant, clean leafy park. Internal bitumen roads well maintained.
Disliked:- Not particularly good value for money for a couple. Better for families so that kids can use the"toys".

Good value for money park. 31 bucks per night (powered site 2A). Extra friendly staff. Sites not over generous in size with narrow roads. We were there when it was not busy so no problems. Would be different at peak time as not much room to get on and off the site. Good clean amenities with great showers However they are not in the middle of the park so would mean a fair walk for people on many sites. Great camp kitchen and combined rec. room. Good BBQ area and playground. Small pool. Jumping Pillow. Dump point. Quite a well maintained park. Close to CBD and major attractions such as the Old Dubbo Gaol and the zoo.
