Yes, this park is for sale but we saw no sign of neglect because of that. Booking was efficient with tourist information provided and we were guided to our site. This park is a member of KUI Parks, so we paid $27 per night 2A powered drive through site. The gardens are well maintained and the lawns are neatly mown. The amenities, accessed via a pin code, were spotlessly clean. Signage to the park is an issue, but once on the road to Leeton keep your wits about you as the park is actually in Gardiner Road, just before the huge Toyota dealership, about 3km from the centre of Griffith. As mentioned, the trains are a non-issue.

Park is for sale. Lack of attention can be seen in some places. Office closes promptly at 5.00pm each day which is a bit odd, as this is when the overnighters arrive. Park is not well signed due to foliage and poor placement so keep a look out particularly where the garden nurseries are located. A train line runs along side Park, saw three trains in a week, so no real problem.
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $30 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, kiosk, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground, in average condition. Clean pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families.
Parking:- Ample room in driveway for parking.
Road Conditions:- Good Visitor Information Centre in main Street

We spent a week here and enjoyed our stay. This is an older park but great owners who have been there for many years make sure your stay is wonderful. Dump Point, good sized sites, taps and sullage not an issue. The area is quiet and not far from town. The park has secure access. Internet access on Telstra and Optus was fine. Good Pool for the warm weather.

Relief managers were very welcoming. $30 per night. Mobile and broadband 5 bars (Telstra). A quiet time, we were able to choose any site, either grassed or with concrete annex pad. Gardens separate each site, most of which are drive through. Park is well maintained. Amenities were very clean, although drying area in shower is cramped. Camp kitchen, bbq, playground, lawn area all make this a great base for visiting Griffith. Enjoyed the Pioneer Park, Hermit's Cave area and Catania Fruit Salad Farm.

Coming into the town from the East the park is easily seen on the right and situated just over the railway line about 100m from the main road. It is a pretty park in a nice setting and well laid out. We had one of only 2 ensuite sites at $38pn. The en-suites are so small you have to go outside to change your mind. Other sites are large and mainly drive through, plenty of trees. Security gate. Griffith is a prosperous and attractive town and there is plenty to see. The Catania Fruit Salad Farm is a great experience and not to be missed. Some wonderful Italian restaurants in town and, of course, some terrific wineries including the biggest wine producer in Australia. 60 shipping containers of (Yellowtail) wine leave Casella Winery every day for export around the world! These 60 containers go past the caravan park twice, once on a truck to the railway station and then on the train.
