Coming from the South is at the entrance to town behind the Caltex Service Centre. No longer appears to be part of the Top Parks chain. Friendly staff who pointed out site. $35 per night. Sites are mainly grass and drive through although some have concrete slabs. Owners are making an effort to keep the grass green. Very well set out camp kitchen although the electric bbq runs on 20c pieces and is not free as mentioned in a previous post. Clean laundry ($4) and amenities block was clean. Showers have and internal glass door to separate that shower area from the change area. Dump point near main office. Pool was clean.

After driving for 6 hours we thought we would stay at this park for the night. After we found out that powered sites were $38/night as it was the last day of school holidays we decided to keep driving. This park is on the new highway that by-passes Holbrook. There are very few facilities at this park apart from an amenities block and power poles and taps. We thought the price was a total rip off!! As we drove past Gundagai we saw signs advertising powered sites for $26 - that is what Holbrook should be charging.

The last report on the park spoke of wet sites, the need to reverse out, and wheel spinning. This problem was actioned only months after seeing it and has again been revisited prior to this winter. All our low lying sites have been raised with road base material and rolling. We do listen to our customers, and when required, we react.
