A beaut little park and obviously a lot of other travellers think the same - very popular! Of the three parks in town this one is furthest out, but its quiet and opposite the North Arm of the Clarence River - popular with the fisherfolk. Spotless amenities and laundry, lots of lines, dump point, pleasant reception, perfectly maintained $36p.n. and good DTV & Telstra

This is a great park and friendly management when you checked in. I asked for a site with concrete as my dog is allergic to grass and I was travelling up for a major event in Queensland, was very impressed that not only was I given a concrete slab but was given the only site in the park that was all concrete. You need to sign a set of rules when you check in, some of which I found a bit weird and slightly ridiculous which made me wonder if you had familes that complained about the dogs there, one of which dogs are not allowed to pee on any grass areas of the park, you need to walk them outside the park, bit hard when you need to walk through the park to get to outside, how do you stop a dog from peeing first thing in the morning??? or in the evening when you take them out, you can't really. The sites themselves well mine was nice a wide, not too hard to get into, but the roads were a bit narrow but had plenty of room on the site itself. The ferry across to Yamba is dog friendly and was a great ride first thing in the morning, and walking around Yamba A lovely off leash beach which you need to drive to but my two loved it. even with the rules I would probably go back just due to the fact the management was helpful and my site was exactly what my dog needed and went out to help like that
