We were advised by a permanent resident that "the manager was out so just pick a spot and he'll come round later". As the grassy sites had all been taken, we set up on a red dirt site which looked more like a driveway, with no close access to water. The amenities were neat but needed a spring clean. As previously mentioned, a couple of showers were dripping or running water, which couldn't be turned off. There is a pin code to the amenities after dark, so keep your receipt! The camp kitchen, with TV, and fire pit area was excellent, with most campers gathering for a chat.

Manager's name is Kate & Dan.
This is a council park if office unattended ring mobile number and Kate comes running. You get to pick your own site. The park is a little run down with dripping tapes and at the time running shower in the mens. The camp kitchen could do with a good clean.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $25 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic camp kitchen, dump point. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Dirty BBQs, congenial bbq area atmosphere. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.

Some sites with grass and some are just dirt, which turned into mud after recent rains. Reasonable amenities although the cobwebs and bugs could be cleaned away. The camp kitchen - less said the better and the bbq was filthy. Good location near the lake and only a short walk to town

DFP. Kate and Dan are new managers and working hard to make RVers welcome. Lots of green grass, new improved larger camp kitchen. Two amenities blocks, older but immaculate. Choice of large powered sites. Just a 2 minute walk across an oval to the lake and walking track. About a 4 minute walk to the main street of town. Good drinking water. Good value for money. We would stay again.
