This large park can suffer from the prevailing wind as it is largely unprotected by trees. We didn't see a kitchen or barbecue in the 5 days we were there. We think they are down the back with the reducing number of permanents. The sites are generous and easily accessed by large vans.
Friendly staff. Reasonable value for money $39 for 2A PN, powered. Paid $31.20, reduced for chain discount = 1 night free. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Kiosk, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available. carrier used was Vodafone, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Disliked:- Reaching the keypad at the boom gate is very difficult due to badly located barriers.
Parking:- Stay hard left approaching the boom gate. There's only room for one rig. When busy, they line up all over the street.

This park appears to be in 3 sections. 1 for permanent's &2 for tourists. We never saw the camp kitchen as it was located amongst the permanent sites. Each tourist section had an amenities block (clean with plenty of everything expected). Only 1 tourist section had a bar-b-q. Other then that we had a lovely site overlooking the lake. As we are self sufficient we would stay again.

Just a quick follow up after our report from last year. We're staying here for a week this year, got a special deal staying for the 7 nights. We really love Lennox Head and we've sussed out a great site at the caravan park. It's no longer a Big 4 but part of the North Coast holiday parks group. Same friendly management, we'll be back again no doubt.

Liked:- The location close to the beach, lake and town. The very friendly welcome and information from Deb - one of the best in the business.
Disliked:- Only a few sites actually have a lake view.
Parking:- Check in bay.
Local Information:- Close to Byron Bay but Lennox head still has a village atmosphere. The beach and lake are both great. The lookout from the headland is awesome, often with whales cruising past.
