The receptionist that helped us seemed to be in a hurry and rushed through our check in. This is also partly a Lifestyle Village, so there are quite a few cottages occupied by over 50's, however they are mainly at the back of the park and along one side. I have noted that the park is noisy, mainly because there are a lot of cars driving in and out.
Average staff friendliness, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $45 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Paid $36, reduced for We paid in advance. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, kiosk, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, book swap available, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Noisy, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- The location is fantastic. V Wall tavern out the front as well as a café/take away. Close to the beach and river. Long walking paths to other cafes and restaurants.
Disliked:- Sites opposite cabins are a bit tight to get into.
Parking:- At the side of the office.
Added Touches:- Fish cleaning table. Also a dog wash as it is dog friendly.
Local Information:- The Wharf Café is great. The meals at the Island Restaurant in the Golf Club are very good and reasonably priced. Their 'courtesy' bus collects you from the front of the park. They charge $2/person per trip.
Road Conditions:- Good

This park has everything you need including the tavern out the front for a good, reasonably priced meal. The amenities and camp kitchen/BBQ area are top class. Make sure you have 5 x $1 coins for the washing machines. The area is just beautiful and there are plenty of places to eat and have a coffee. Shelly beach is very protected in one corner and was perfect was a cooling dip. The park was almost full while we were here. We paid $40/night after Top discount in the shoulder season.

Nice park but the grassed areas were very dry and worn. Great location. Is the most expensive park at nambucca.
Very friendly staff, average staff response to complaints. Reasonable value for money $43 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 5. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Location. Modern amenities. Nice pool and water park.
Disliked:- We booked on line as top tourist members and didn't get discount. Were told when we got to park that they don't give discounts when booking on line. We emailed top tourist and they said that it is wrong and should have refunded the discount on arrival. Top tourist head office fixed it for us. When booking do so by phone which in this day and age is rediculous otherwise they refuse to give you discount. We did not like our site it only just fitted our van and no where to park our car. We booked 2 weeks prior and was told the park is full on the weekend which was not the case. We didn't ask for another site for this reason but we could have had another site after all. We were told by park resident that park is often over booked and people lose their sites or have to move to make way for others who want their site presumably previously booking that site even if the ordinal people on that site had booked in advance.
Parking:- Easy parking when checking in.

Have always liked the location and appearance of this caravan park and finally had a chance to stay there for two nights. Charge was $36.90pn after Top Tourist discount-very reasonable amount to pay for the location and facilities. Easy to put our caravan (27 total length incl draw bar) on the large site. Facilities were in excellent condition and very clean. Camp kitchens (2) were also excellent. Having a tavern at the entry to this CP is different and a bonus-meal there was excellent and reasonably priced. Happy to stay there again, but for longer next time.
