This park has everything you need including the tavern out the front for a good, reasonably priced meal. The amenities and camp kitchen/BBQ area are top class. Make sure you have 5 x $1 coins for the washing machines. The area is just beautiful and there are plenty of places to eat and have a coffee. Shelly beach is very protected in one corner and was perfect was a cooling dip. The park was almost full while we were here. We paid $40/night after Top discount in the shoulder season.

Nice park but the grassed areas were very dry and worn. Great location. Is the most expensive park at nambucca.
Very friendly staff, average staff response to complaints. Reasonable value for money $43 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 5. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided, toddlers catered for. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- Location. Modern amenities. Nice pool and water park.
Disliked:- We booked on line as top tourist members and didn't get discount. Were told when we got to park that they don't give discounts when booking on line. We emailed top tourist and they said that it is wrong and should have refunded the discount on arrival. Top tourist head office fixed it for us. When booking do so by phone which in this day and age is rediculous otherwise they refuse to give you discount. We did not like our site it only just fitted our van and no where to park our car. We booked 2 weeks prior and was told the park is full on the weekend which was not the case. We didn't ask for another site for this reason but we could have had another site after all. We were told by park resident that park is often over booked and people lose their sites or have to move to make way for others who want their site presumably previously booking that site even if the ordinal people on that site had booked in advance.
Parking:- Easy parking when checking in.

A very large park. Lots of van sites, cabins & permanents. The permanents are all well maintained and blend in with the cabins. Paid $38.70 after chain discount. Amenities were very clean. Large BBQ area. Good camp kitchen. Pool. There is also a large lagoon. Close to beach and break wall.

Have always liked the location and appearance of this caravan park and finally had a chance to stay there for two nights. Charge was $36.90pn after Top Tourist discount-very reasonable amount to pay for the location and facilities. Easy to put our caravan (27 total length incl draw bar) on the large site. Facilities were in excellent condition and very clean. Camp kitchens (2) were also excellent. Having a tavern at the entry to this CP is different and a bonus-meal there was excellent and reasonably priced. Happy to stay there again, but for longer next time.

This is a lovely park in a great location, the price is extremely expensive in off peak at $41 a night not including the top tourist discount, trying to make a booking took a while, as you need to ring up if you are a member but even then they charged me the full amount and not the discounted amount, if you pay by website it charges you the entire stay. The drive thru sites are nice and wide but are not that long, you can not remain hitched up nice concrete slabs with a little garden on the side too, the whole park is nice but caters for children, which I think increases the price, with a swimming pool, paddling area, playground. it has a nice camp kitchen and BBQ area but it took a while to BBQ and I was lucky the manager was walking around and showed me how to start it. It has a nice walk along the V wall which is dog friendly and along the river is a broadwalk too which his nice and can take you to the visitor information centre. I received sad news whilst here and had to cut my stay short and only stay one night, whilst at the time, they were very helpful and kind and said they would sort it all out for me, I am still waiting a month on for the return of my deposit and one night and no reply to emails. I had always wanted to stay at this park, the amenities would be a bit of a walk from some sites, you have a choice of drive thru, slab, water or ensuite, the ensuite sites had a green mat and not the slab on it, in peak time the road would be narrow to reverse into the sites or even non peak but it is a lovely park, just hope to have someone return my email to sort it out, as I did enjoy my stay there

This park is situated in a gorgeous part of Nambucca Heads, The 'ooh' effect when you first come upon it. Very busy, very popular. It has pretty much all you could wish for and we were really enjoying it until we asked if we could change sites to the front row, water views became vacant. These were only $5 per night more. We originally booked 7 nights which gave us a discount. No problem except we would have to move back after 4 nights as it was booked ahead by others. Went to pay extra $20 only to be told now we owed them $50 as we had broken the contract by moving, so discount was forfeited - no leeway given -bitter taste has been left and we have decided to leave 1 day early. We wont be back . There are plenty more 'ooh' views around this beautiful country.
