Very friendly staff, no complaints. Very good value for money $33 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, basic camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, van parking, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 2. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs, congenial bbq area atmosphere, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families.
Liked:- Price per site is good compaired to other parks in area. Allows pets. Dog hydro bath near amenities. Close to the beach. Lovely peaceful setting with many trees.
Disliked:- Park is on different levels which may be difficult for mobility impaired people because amenities is a walk up a hill or steps. However if this is a problem for you ask for a powered site on same level as amenities. Unpowered sites quite a walk up the hill to amenities however this did not affect my stay. Park has mainly unsealed roads so car and van gets quite dusty. However we had not had much rain for weeks so everything was a dry.
Parking:- No problems with parking with a van on
Local Information:- Close to nice beach all be it a steep walk down to but has a large carpark to park your car. Short drive to supermarket and other shops. Great place to stay for Father's Day Rusty Iron Rally at Macksville only 20 minute drive away.

Had voucher from Travelauctions so booked for 10 days. Quite a nice park with some of the best customer service we've ever enjoyed at a park. However, although the gardens were well cared for, the grass was meagre and we had a bluemetal site which they provide a mat for caravanner's comfort - actually works well but not nearly as nice as grass of course!! The bins were absolutely putrid and were not cleaned out while we were there. I realise that these big bins must be difficupt to clean but the disgusting stink and blowflies etc etc were revolting. The park is about 4 ks from town and there are no bikepaths to town (very hilly roads) so not as user friendly as we'd like for bicycles. Good ablutions with excellent hot water. Good access to the (very average) beach. The wifi access is almost non existant with Telstra but the park provides 300 mg daily for all patrons which works occasionally. TV reception OK but phone reception marginal (Telstra). Mobile and data services to the whole town leaves a lot to be desired . Very average experience overall.
Friendly staff. Very good value for money $40 for 2A. Paid $21, reduced for Travel Auctions. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, van parking, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Quiet, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool. Suitable for a week or more.
