This is a big well laid out park. Annuals are generally at one end of the park. There is a variety of sites to choose from - some with slabs, some grassed, some in the sun, some in the shade. We stayed here over school holidays and the long weekend and whilst the park was busy it never felt super crowded.
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $43 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Paid $37, reduced for Roadtripper discount. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, book swap available, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- The location of the park close to the beach and the river

Nice greeting at reception, large park with many double slab sites amongst some shady trees. 2 dump points and 3 amenity blocks, and they are spotless. The whole park is very well maintained with a few Roos munching on the grassed areas as well. $37p.n., and would recommend.

A lot of work has been done on this park since our last stay. Great camp kitchen.

This is probably the best park in North Haven, located right next to the beach and a short walk from the river. The facilities have been progressively upgraded and now include an excellent camp kitchen and several separate bbq areas. The sites are a good size and mostly easy to access. Many now have double concrete slabs installed over the last couple of years. There is abundant bird and animal life with up to 10 roos frequenting the park. TV reception can be a problem although we had no trouble with a jack antenna. Mobile phone coverage by Telstra is poor and the free wi-fi is a waste of time. These things notwithstanding, this is a really good park in a really nice part or the coast.

This was a nice park, some sites are nicer than others we were given a site under the trees close to the road which was more dirt than the concrete slabs, but the slabs could do with some TLC some sites are a fair distance to the amenities like the one I was one but had a BBQ near by Was a peaceful park with wildlife but the best find was the off leash beach at the end of the road about 200 metres away so much off leash beach was great, the dogs had so much fun there and all hours too not times. There is also a lovely walk along the break wall which goes for a long way too. The check in was friendly and helpful, the price was $34 for 1 adult which I find a bit expensive but the locations seems to be the price. you need a code for the bathroom and to get in and out of the park. Great location, the only let down was some sites seems inferior to others but those had trees to provide shade

We stayed here approx 12 months ago. So this is just an update. Cost was $33 pn power o/peak, however, we got a free night using the North Coast tripper card, and also a 10% discount for staying 7 nights. Since our last visit more slabs have been constructed. These are double size, so both the van and annex/awning are on the slab. During our stay there was rain, so this was very welcome. We understand the main amenities block, which is getting old, is soon to be closed, gutted and refitted. The second block is also old, but is in better condition. The amenities were kept immaculate, as previous. The park is dog friendly off peak. We do not have a dog, but the addition of a dog bath is probably most welcome for visitors who bring their best friend with them. A Putt Putt golf course has also been added, which should keep the kids occupied. This park is suitable for long stays, and is perfect for Grey Nomads and families.
