Friendly staff. Reasonable value for money $37 for 2A. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, kiosk, dump point, book swap available, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe, park is considered suitable for mobility impaired persons.
Liked:- At this time of the year it was empty. Short bush walking trails from back of the park. Unpowered areas at the back looked nice, amongst the paperbark trees.
Disliked:- I thought it rather expensive for off peak at $37, but it is probably the area. Some traffic noise during the day.
Parking:- One painted parking spot for vans checking in. Otherwise you just park behind them. Could be painful when busy as you'd be queuing into the main road.
Local Information:- Nelson Bay & other areas 10-15 minute drive away.
Road Conditions:- Slightly out of the major tourist areas & an easy park to find & get into.

Neat well maintained park. 2 clean amenities blocks, the one close to the office has larger showers. Laundry facilities, but only a couple of tiny clotheslines, definitely needs more. Very nice swimming pool with slide for children, mini golf, very good rec room/camp kitchen. Sites were ok for mid size vans, very large vans would have problems if the park was full, but when we were there it wasn't and some large vans were set up over part of the site behind. Large unpowered bush area at back of park for tent camping.
