Just back home from this park after an enjoyable stay but unfortunately while we were there was informed the council are closing the park, 45,000 visitors a year but no advice as to just what council are going to do. Rebuild? Relocate? Unknown at this stage. A big disappointment for a lot of people because this park is so convenient. Sorry about the bad news.

What a good find this place was! Good value for money. It's an older site but the facilities are very clean and well maintained. Some sites were just dirt/gravel but level enough - perfect for a small camper van like mine. There were also other larger sites more suitable for caravan-car combinations. Very close to the shopping centre with all the usual big names and a short level walk to Queanbeyan CBD for other shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. Easy drive into Canberra. I stayed for the long weekend and found it very convenient. I will definitely stay again
