The attraction at this park is the irregularly shaped swimming pool with a helical slide for kids. The heated pool remains warm enough to swim in the winter. Our cost per night was confused by our stay being partly in school holidays and partly not. At an average of $41 per night it is no bargain for winter. Sites are easy to access. The recreation room was closed due to Covid restrictions. Kitchen facilities may struggle at peak times. With the exception of three or four "stragglers" permanents are allocated an entirely separate area.
Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money, powered. Paid $41.00, reduced for Mixed tariff. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 1. Quiet, open & roomy park, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC BBQs, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool, heated, pool is shaded, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more, suitable for families, well maintained park.
Liked:- Its openness.
Local Information:- 10 minutes to walk to town. A few good places to eat.

Liked:- I travel solo so I appreciate drive through sites. I could not get power at my site so staff were strait over to help. It was just a trip switch I didn’t notice.
Disliked:- The power and tap were a long way from my site. Also my site only had one tap but 2 power plugs, the site next to me was suppose to use a tap on the other side to them but they used mine instead. They should have used the tap on the other side of their van but that would have mean their hose was stretched a long way. I thought that was a very strange set up. Other sites seemed fine. The man was kind enough to have a double adaptor for the tap so we both had water.
Parking:- Seperate lane to park for check in. Park has one way loop road around which I only realised when I was going the wrong way!
Added Touches:- Boat ramp and lovely river right next to the park. Dogs most welcome! Bit of walk into town but a lovely one!
Local Information:- Trial Bay gaol was brilliant! Smokey Cape Lighthouse is gorgeous! Town has lovely beaches and the river has a very safe swimming spot with wheel chair access to a lovely little sheltered beach. Area is just beautiful.
Road Conditions:- Road into town can go under a bit of water in the very wet time of year and has been patched many times but does not cause any problems.
