Entry is off Duffs Road, which runs off Town Bypass Road (coming N Town Bypass Road is on your right, before the level crossing; coming south turn at Copeland street at the wide intersection - large sign for the showground - road becomes Town Bypass Road).

Friendly staff, no complaints. Reasonable value for money $20 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, no sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Late checkout allowed, dump point, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. No BBQs. No playground. No pool. Suitable for overnighter.
Liked:- Clean and tidy grounds,very good and clean amenities.
Disliked:- Some power boxes with 10amp plugs.Dogs wandering around grounds.Site price a bit over the top.

Liked:- Roomy, choice of site on grass or gravel, shady or sunny.
Disliked:- Showground is old and little used except for a few caravanners.
Parking:- Jim will see you come in and meet you.
Road Conditions:- good roads.

This is a basic showground with huge camping areas spaced all over the grounds. Jim the resident caretaker will collect your $20 per night powered or unpowered. Spotless toilets and showers are in the main red brick stand. Jim as two wonderful Red Cattle Dogs and is a renowned baker. You might be lucky and get some samples to try. Optus and Telstra both 5 Bars or reception. There is room for any size rig and pets are welcome. Its quiet at night and a great spot to relax.
