First time we have stayed at Wilcannia usually just fill with fuel at the BP depot and go straight through. We are very happy to have made the decision to stay here. Great welcome from Mark the caretaker. Sites are big , amenities are immaculate and the park feels welcoming and friendly. We would like to thank the previous contributors in for bringing this park to our attention. Will stay again.

At $20 pn 2A pwd, we give this park a 4 for value for money. Nice long sites enabled, easy entry, ability to remain hooked up and no taking the chance of parking under the gums. Pay the caretaker at the house before entry, grab a key to amenities and pick a site. The sites had some concrete car tracks, but they weren't quite wide enough but still good. Amenities have been given a freshen up paint, were of good proportion being older style and perfectly clean and functional. Laundry machines were newish and free during our stay. A nice, dust free, quiet spot to spend a few days, although we are not sure what is available in town to see there is always a nice day trip to White Cliffs to be had.

Only reopened 12 months ago. New manger has worked very hard to over haul the facilities. Clean ammenities, power and water. Free laundry. Large grassy sites with concrete strips to park van on. Dump point in town on the Broken Hill road. The park backs on to the Darling river. Nearby is a spillway where pelicans hunt for fish. The historic town is a mix a of interesting and delapitated buildings. At $20 per night a good spot for a couple of days.
