Powered site is $40 per night less Top Parks discount ($36). Park is becoming a bit tired and thus is becoming a bit pricey for its standard which is obviously tourist season rates. Most sites had concrete annexe slabs and shade. Good clean amenities with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Amenities blocks were close to most sites. Good laundry attached to one amenity block with a dump point close by. Camp kitchen was well set up but the bbqs and the hot plate required 20c in the slot for 5 minutes of heating which was a bit rich seeing as how the Park is charging $40 per night for a site. Camp kitchen was clean. The rubbish bin area is adjacent to the camp kitchen and as per previous reports appears to be a large garden shed where you open a half door and throw your rubbish in. Rubbish was piled nearly to the roof when we were there and it does not appear to be emptied very often. Roads in the Park are very narrow and we had difficulty in getting our van onto the site. We had to wait for the van on the opposite site to move off before we could get off. Park staff were friendly but need to manage their van sizes to the bays a bit more carefully. (If travelling north diesel at Marla was 30c litre cheaper than Kulgera)

Friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $48 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Suitable for few days, suitable for families.

Lovely tidy little park, in a very convenient location to town and local facilities. Tariff $39 2A pwrd less TT discount we paid $35.10. After a friendly greeting upon arrival, we were directed onto our site by a lovely man (forgot his name!) who then explained park facilities and connection points. We didn't have any issue with sullage drainage as previously reported. We had a lovely grassy site with concrete annex slab, bordered by a privacy hedge, although some sites are grass only. Lots of trees for shade, but ofcourse birds like them too. Secure boom gate entry, and gate closed at night, all easily accessed through your personal code gave a feeling of security. Amenities were older style, but clean and fully functional. Laundry was fantastic. Heaps of washing machines, very clean and approx 30 x 10 m long washing lines in good sunny position, so no difficulty at all getting a hanging spot. Dump point, clean pool, central rubbish hut contained the bins (wasn't smelly during our visit). Excellent TV, Telstra and Optus reception phone and internet. Bitumen roads so no dust, but they were so good that speeding was a bit of an issue. A bit of road noise from the highway, however this didn't disturb us at all. There is a local shopping strip 2 strolling blocks away with an excellent butcher, IGA, grog shop and chemist. We stayed here twice and really liked it so we have a new favourite in Alice.

After paying for you stay, a code is given to you to enter and leave caravan park. Every individual's code is different. Gates are locked at 6pm and reopen early next morning. Razor wire and barb wire is on all back and side fences.
Average staff friendliness, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $37 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Paid $33.30, reduced for Top Tourist. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, basic rec room, basic camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, claustrophobic park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, dismal bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for month or longer, well maintained park.
Liked:- Assistance is available should you not be able to get onto your site.
Disliked:- Some sites width wise are very hard to get onto. Waste hose holes not compliant to most caravans. As caravanners don't have motors to send waste water to drain, it is impossible to send water uphill. Too many regulations. No washing of any kind to be hung at your site regardless if there are no hanging lines near laundry. All rubbish goes into a locked area where the smell is the worst of its kind. Bins in this area are emptied once a week. Would not like to be here when its hot.
Parking:- Just off main road and before boom gates.
Local Information:- West and East McDonnell Ranges just awesome. Worth a visit. Great photography.
Road Conditions:- Good
