Despite rumours and earlier reports, this park does not have petrol discounts, nor does it have an entrance via a service station or a resort. It appears to be autonomous. Because of the layout of the sites, many of which are concrete slabbed, you are likely to have little contact with your neighbours. The well placed and unusually designed amenities block is old and showing it's age but clean and not unpleasant. There is no dump point at this park.
Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. . Paid $36.00, reduced for Seniors. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, no wireless internet available. carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. No playground. Clean pool, pool is shaded. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- The operator is amenable and very tolerant in letting you choose a site.
Local Information:- This entire town is all about Litchfield National Park
