Don't be put off the park by the reception office smelling strongly of dog. To a non dog person it wasn't pleasant.

This is no longer a Big 4 park. The friendly owner gave us seniors discount instead. Sites at the front have less shade but annex slabs. We chose to go to the rear of the park on a grassy site with more shade. Old laundry and amenities. Water pressure is excellent and showers nice and hot. A shady swimming pool is nice to cool off in after a day touring the area. No dump point but one is near by next to the Tavern in town.

This is an excellent well maintained park only 400 mts from the centre of town and close to Litchfield National Park. Several large sites with slabs and also some grass sites with plenty of shade. The amenities block is spotless, but showing its age. There are some excellent ensuite sites at the back of the park. There is a good pool, but none of the usual Big 4 kids playground or jumping pillow. There is bird feeding morning and evening.
