Good spot for an overnighter. Nice grassy sites. Can stay hooked on. Pool "out of order". Fuel, drinks and huge meals available at the roadhouse. Good alternative to the pub where people were packed in and very dusty.

$28.00 per night 2 adults powered. Grassed sites at back of roadhouse. Amenities have been done up since our last visit. Plenty of hot water dry area for changing. Pub in road house is being remodeled. Still a voucher for free drink given when checking in. Pool closed as it is also being renovated.

Powered site for $28 with a free drink in the pub for my wife and I included, was good value. We stayed in the new section on the south side which has newish amenities and plenty of space within its corrugated iron perimeter fence. The sites themselves by number are very small, if full you could not put an awning out, we straddled two sites and had a couple of sites between us and our nearest neighbour, so no worries. The noise from a road train running an engine for half the night just outside the park did not help our sleep. Our previous stay a few years ago in the older section, is more sheltered from such noise and has much more shade. This area was full when we arrived. If we returned we would prefer the older area due to the road noise factor. The roadhouse has a pool but the roof provides excessive shade making it dark and not inviting, so we did not try it. The pool looked clean.
