Not much more I can say about this place all my previous comments are still very relevant A very well set out park well-watered and large shady sites with power and water sullage close to the sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful both at the reception, and offered help if needed. Was encouraged able to wash car and van on the grass sites. TV was a bit limited no ABC or SBS so used the Vast System had to shift the dish around a bit to get a signal thru the trees. Amenities where well set out and clean. Close to town and well set up for day trips the Katherine and surrounds attractions. Phone and internet was Telstra and had 3-4 bars. By end of September most people have headed south so place was only about a third full

We stayed here twice, and pricing was different as 'seasons' changed. $43 pwd 2A PN (reduced to $38.70 for BIG4 discount) is a bit exy we think but it is a good park. The park area is huge, but the 166 sites are all together in the back section. With not many slabs to line up to, and a decent width of the internal roads, accessing them shouldn't be difficult if park full. A few drive through sites for overnighters to remain hooked up. Amenities were very good and newish, however if the park was full these amenities would be very busy. Hand soap and paper towel provided. Good laundry facilities. A large open air camp kitchen, with heaps of seating; a small cooking area at the end of the amenities block and several BBQ huts dotted around provided clean cooking facilitlies. Pool was massive, with a good grassy area and a couple of sun lounges surrounding it. Dump point well situated well away from anything but very accessible and practical. Cafe (not open during our visit) and additional toilets beside pool. Lots of trees-love 'em or hate 'em, but good tree checking going on during our visits. A lovely quiet park during our visit, close to town but rural also. TV was a bit sporadic. Optus and Telsta reception very good.

$42.30 p/n powered 2 adults after Big4 discount. The amenities have been retiled and painted since our last visit. Not good ventilation in amenities. Disabled shower only has a chair no bench to put your cloths on, so if you need the chair to shower you have to place your belonging on the floor. There is also no urinal in the Men's. Good camp kitchen. BBQ areas all over the park. The pool was clean and has also had a make over. You were assisted onto your site. Good park.

As we are experiencing a wet season trip, this report is probably different from normal. We find this park the best in Katherine. We have been to this park many times over the years. Wet season price for us was $36 less our disc. The outer perimeter of park is closed during the wet season. Ablutions as always spotless. The bistro is opened only in high season. The swimming pool was very clean with shade covers overhead. Replanting of lawn was in progress around pool is in working progress. When you arrive during a wet season, the office is closed, however there is paper work at the door to take. Layout of where you can park during this time is clearly marked out. The managers come around in the afternoon to collect fees.

Friendly staff, nice pool, a licensed restaurant next to the pool. Shady grass sites. I needed my 20mt power lead to reach the power box. Water near the site. Sites are on an angle. Reversing in is on your blind side. Not easy when there is no clear boundary between the sites. The sites either side of us were wide. For some reason ours was narrow. I had to park partly on the adjacent site. Fortunately occupied by a motor home so the did not need the entire width. Amenities are clean but old. The shower heads in some cases are corroded and barely function. Dump point in the park.

Still worth the price after disc. All amenities have had an upgrade since we were here last July 2014. Our grassed site and shade was great. All caravans are parked on an angle. Would come back here again if we are travelling through.

Have stayed there are few times over the years and this park is always one of the best going around. However this time is the first time we have stayed there in the wet season. Given that things slow down and the parks reduce staff at this time. Maybe this year the park may have over reduced their staff. Office was hardly ever staffed. Three quarters of the park was closed which included the main amenities block. The only amenities open were 2 unisex toilets and 1 unisex shower as the two mornings we were there people were waiting to use them. No maintenance at all. Despite this, we shall return.

Lovely park, large with well maintained grounds. Sites are all grassed, no concrete slabs, power and drinkable water. The facilities are clean large and well maintained, although half of the toilets and shower cubicles were closed because of the end of the peak season. Excellent number of BBQs spread out throughout the park with a very large and well equipped camp kitchen. $36 per night for 2 people. A very good location to explore the area and National Park. A very quiet park with good facilities for families. Will stay again on the drive back South from Darwin

Northern Territory peak season parks get expensive and this one is no exception. 40 bucks 50 (pow 2A) per night after chain discount.. Friendly staff who guided us to our site and asked if we needed any assistance. Did not as sites are very generous in size. All sited are well grassed with plenty of shade. Very good and clean amenities block. Excellent large pool area with a small spa. Excellent bar/bistro which is a good place to sit back and knock over a few in the evening. Average camp kitchen. About 5 small BBQ areas in various parts of the park. Dump point. Apart from the pool, nothing else to amuse the kids. One of the best maintained parks we have been in.
