This park is well presented and grassed. We remember grass. Its stuff they have on the coast. The site configuration is unusual with vans in a rectangle facing out. There are only 34 sites, very long and thin, all concreted in their approaches and all with a slab but no dump point. There is one 2 or 3 km away in town.
Very friendly staff, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money, powered. Paid $45.00, reduced for Seniors. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, very few sites are shaded, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, kiosk, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 1. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting. No playground. Clean pool. Suitable for month or longer, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Nice atmosphere, clean and very well maintained.
Added Touches:- Can book lots of tourist activities at reception.
Local Information:- The big one is Katherine Gorge.

We usually stay at Big 4, but returning to Katherine within 10 days from our last visit decided to give this park a go, after talking to fellow travelers. We were more than happy with the park. Friendly staff who explained park. $40 p/n powered for 2 adults. All sites are a concrete slab and concrete to park your car on. Enough room to stay hooked up if you wanted. Amenities are in the centre of the park, they were clean. The only dislike I have would be no bench on the shower stall. We would not hesitate to return to this park.
