This is another park which must be rated on appeal rather than condition. It is dusty due to time of year and number of campers. With the homestead and the Thermal Pools it has great atmosphere.

The amenities block was old, the sites were dusty with the drought. A water truck was in constant use to try to keep the road dust down. Staff helpful and friendly. The last flood did some damage. Forget the state of the park and soak in the springs, they get a rating of 4.5.

This park now has a dump point at the top end of park behind the ablutions. It is only a pipe in ground with a lid attached. It has no water hose attached to this. There is a trough on outside of ablutions for water. The Mataranka Thermal Pool is within walking distance of park. Parents must be with children at all times when going to pool. No food or bottles are to be taken to pool as there is no rubbish bins provided. There are some great walking trails within in park. During the months of October to December flying foxes become a nuisance and the pool is closed to the public,
