Territory Manor Motel and Caravan Park, Mataranka

Mataranka is 105 km S of Katherine. The park is to the east of the Stuart Hwy, on northern edge of the town. The turn-off to the park and to Bitter Springs is just about opposite the Police Station. Ph: 08 8975 4516 or 1800 089 103. All pets allowed, at manager's discretion, on leash at all times.

Paid $35 per night for 2 people. The amenities are dated but clean. Nice big meals at the restaurant and the entertainment on the night was great.

$35.00 per night powered for 2 adults. No bookings taken. New owners are working to improve the park. The old amenities block is gone. To be replaced soon. Amenities are older style but clean, plenty of hot water. Clean pool. Licensed restaurant and entertainment each night.

Staff friendly and explained park layout and facilities, sites are not allocated or well defined you pick your own spot on arrival either powered or nonpowered. reasonable value for money $30.00 p/night. 2 people for a powered site, Amenities are close to most sites and there was adequate hot water in the amenities these are old but where clean, meals at the resort also where well priced adequate number of tourist sites mostly level sites, most sites have some shade, drive-through sites are also available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. TV was ABC only so used the Vast System, quiet open & roomy park, Suitable for few days, whilst exploring the Mataranka and the Hot Springs at Bitter Creek and beyond, suitable for families, well maintained park but very dusty but so is everywhere this time of year, park is considered kid-safe

Friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $30 for 2A PN, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is poor, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, basic rec room, basic camp kitchen, kiosk, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, spa available. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Lovely treed park. Includes restaurant. Close to Bitter Springs pool.
Disliked:- Toilets and showers need some TLC.
Added Touches:- Happy Hour, Discount fuel voucher for sister park.
Local Information:- Bitter Springs thermal pool great spot for a swim. Could only get ABC TV.
Road Conditions:- Good road from Three ways.
