A very well run Park behind the IGA store Staff is very friendly and go that extra bit to make your stay enjoyable, keeping me updated on events within the park such as the movie night. Sites while they are a bit narrow, however there is still room to park your car on site, the sites are grass and very well looked after and green. The water on site is Town water and drinkable. Amenities were very clean and close by; sites had ample power, water and sullage was encouraged to water the lawn, there was a pool, and a great historical walk around Timber Creek. Suggest booking ahead during peak period as the park was full each night. The Victoria River Tour run by the Croc shop next door is a great and full of information. Used Telstra for the internet had 3 bars and no TV reception but the vast system worked well.

$30 a night is what you pay here. Most powered sites have grass and taps, but the water is not suitable for drinking. No sites have sullage. The amenities block is old but clean. Good mobile reception, but no tv reception. The heritage walk is worth doing and go for a drive to the lookout and the Nackeroo memorial.
