Five star for location. Great beach. Close to a good little shopping complex. Nice little cafe on site. Amenities old but clean. Our site needed an extension hose for water and an extension power cord as well. We would have appreciated warning that they were cutting down trees and putting them through a woodchipper, The noise was extremely unpleasant and lasted for two days. No night lighting and without a moon it was very dark. Vanners were here in great numbers because of the location.

Great park. Location is the main reason you come here. Right at the beach. Other reports describe the park well. Amenities old but were kept clean. Water pressure not very good. $40 pn 2 adults. Beach is patrolled. Small shopping centre close by Foodlands & IGA. We will return.

This gets a 4.5 for location. A caravan park that has the word "beach" in the name and it is actually right on the beach. So many parks use poetic licence when describing they are on the beach. A patrolled beach where you can catch a small wave, quite a few board riders at the point, which proves there is a bit of swell. This CP is in a fantastic location see previous reports Re. village shops and proximity to 1770. The Tree Bar there is a must to see the sunset, absolutely stunning. I agree with previous reports Re. Amenities, camp kitchen etc but given the location you can live with those. They are ok, but do need to be addressed sometime in the future. We have vowed to return here for lengthy stay next year. It is very popular, so we will be booking very soon. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we could only secure 1 night but left with great regret. Park is accessible to the public, so you would need to be security aware. Cafe was open while we were there.
