Richard & Helen working hard maintaining this neat grassy & shady park. Dog friendly. Clean but dated ensuite style amenities with supplied bath mats. Good camp kitchen & fire pit. Paid $35/night 2A powered. Barcaldine (pronounced BAR-CALL-DIN) has the Tree of Knowledge near the railway station in town. Very impressive esp. at night. A tour thru The Australian Workers Heritage Centre is well worth it ($17 concession entry) and dogs are allowed .
