Despite being called a Discovery Holiday Park. It isn't really. The park is home to many local miners. It does do breakfasts and dinners for the miners and anyone can join in. The park is tired. It's on-site suites are dated, leak and really need a good refresh. Good mobile phone reception. Poor TV reception, however each site has access to a TV antenna cable to hook direct into your van. At night, it's too dark. No real lighting of sorts. It has a nice pool and large BBQ area fort use as a camp kitchen. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but at $35 PN, the park was overpriced for what you got. Holiday here? Nope. Not for us, at best - its an overnight stop - if you're prepared to pay the price.

A park that mainly caters to permanent workers but still ok for tourists. Only stayed two nights on weekend so not sure of noise when workers coming and going.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Poor value for money $36 for 2A, ensuite. Were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, basic rec room, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless, carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, many permanents. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Liked:- Ensuite sites, albeit a bit dated. Poor TV reception is overcome by hooking up to antennas supplied.
Disliked:- $36 per night for two is a bit steep for what is offered.

Manager's name is Debbie and Ian.
Spent six weeks working in Biloela and stayed here with our van. Lots of Hi Viz workers at present in cabins but I am sure that will will die off once the CSG plants are up and running. Well managed by Debbie and Ian. All caravan sites have ensuites which may be old but clean, and concrete slabs for your annex. Walk to the town centre in approx. five minutes (approx. 600m), with everything that the traveller needs. Would definitely stay again.
