Nothing much has changed in 12 months. Still a good park to use as a base in the Bundaberg area. Still $37/night 2A ensuite although there is no discount for weekly stays. Grassy sites. A busy park & you will need to book ahead to get a site. Lots to see in the Bundaberg area & its easy to spend a week or more here.

Another very enjoyable stay at this park. All sites are ensuited-although there is an option to share an ensuite with another camper at a cheaper rate in the grassed sites. Central location close to all the attractions; road to the beach and town centre. Ensuites are snug but clean and to clarify our previous report, this time shower curtain for screen but that worked. Sharyn and David were as usual friendly and welcoming, informing of the discounts at the local club and pub and they were bang on with their food recommendations at these establishments. The grounds were well kept and the double slab for van and annex provides level sites. Tariff varies with length of stay and Family Parks discount if applicable but is usually $37 p/n. Clean pool, good camp kitchen and good laundry.

All ensuite park.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $37 for 2A PN, ensuite, peak season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, secure entry, wireless internet is available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground, in good condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Two types of sites available - a shared ensuite variant (2 vans on 1 ensuite) $34 P/N or private ensuited $37 P/N powered. We had one night of the shared-site was lovely grass and no-one came to share ensuite so it was ok by us; then moved onto ensuited site for week. Double concrete slab, grassy areas in between, very good sized ensuite with door to shower. Very friendly staff on check in, and male partner will assist with van parking if required. Well equipped laundry, camp kitchen and pool. Secure entry. TV cables available but we didn't have any probs with our own aerial. Mobile and internet Optus and Telstra excellent. We didn't have the noise issues with the industrial neighbours, but could see some sites were pretty close and might experience issues. A few friendly permanents living in very well maintained homes-good for neighbourhood watch we think. We loved the location of this park - 500m to Ginger Beer soft drink factory, about 1.5 ks to Bundy Factory, 1ks to barrel coopers factory (surprisingly interesting!), 2.5ks into town and about 1.5 ks to riverside seafood shop and river cruise. We highly recommend the river cruise on the Bundy Belle-nice little wooden boat calm water cruise run by a young family who were badly affected by floods. Coffee, bickies and great commentary about Bundy past, present and future. Very good value.

Limited arrival parking. Booked van ensuite site and it was virtually next door to One steel who started work early with heavy banging of metal. The site itself was great with clean ensuite and concrete pad for van and annexe. You can get a lead from office for your TV - bonus. The park kitchen was ample for our needs but pretty basic. Laundry good. Lots of lawn, pretty good park, next time get a site furthermost away from One steel. Yep I would book again.

This park is in the industrial area and close to Bundaberg Rum and Bundaberg Ginger Beer. All ensuite park and the ensuites are a decent size too. I had help getting onto the site which is great Secure entrance which requires a deposit, the only complaint was when making a booking it was 1 night plus the boom gate deposit, which I found weird as why pay the deposit before you had even arrived and given a key?? Dogs are allowed but not allowed to be left alone. The first night I was there about 10 pm or so there was a huge noise which went on all night, in the end I was able to sleep as it had periods where it stopped but it was a Truck depot I think and trucks went out all hours or the night and loaded it was extremely noisy the 2nd night I was able to sleep through it. the reception was friendly and nice but at 10.05 am I did get a phone call asking if I was staying another night as I hadn't left yet. The beaches are a short and lovely drive too, unfortunately not really many off leash beaches, they have to be on lead, Did seem to be a lot of permanents there but a lot of backpackers who were lovely and went to bed early each evening but were really friendly group.
