Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $33.00 for 2A PN, powered. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, car wash, dump point, book swap available, wireless internet is available is free, mobile wireless not available carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 1. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. No playground. No pool. Liked:- Happy hour around fire pit and damper is served. Meals available some evenings but you need to book and pay in advance There is a bar but take away alcohol is not permitted Tours of property are available on some days. Current cost is around $50.00 pp Lots of vanners were repeat customers and this speaks volumes for the quality of the park
Disliked:- Only 2 clothes lines. Park can be very dusty but you expect this out here
Parking:- Drive in and park beside office
Road Conditions:- Bitumen road from Charleville to property gate, then dirt road to office

Phone range is a bit hit and miss and TV reception is much the same, otherwise I'd give it a higher rating. Large sites and extremely friendly managers. Its part of a 33000 ac property and has a lot of quite varied habitats so I would recommend the station tour - run by one of the joint owners (new owners since our last stay 3 years ago) who is also manager of the local environment management authority). Sweet bore water suitable for fussy coffee drinkers

Another lovely stay here. We have been 3 times now and I enjoy it more each visit. Dinner was on offer round the campfire, entertainment, licensed bar, good tidy amenities, dump point, pet friendly. Plus the water and poer are ok. Phone reception and TV are a bit hit and miss. Didn't bother us as the night sky view is far more appealing to look at. Will definitely stay again. I think it cost about $30 or so.

This is a pleasant and relaxed place to stay for a few days - out in the bush but with excellent facilities and not too far from town. Managers Dot and Neil are friendly and very helpful. All sites are large and drive through and good efforts are being made to grow shade trees and shrubs between and around sites. Telstra G3 only worked intermittently. The Charleville Library is very helpful for internet access and made no charge for use of our own laptop. Campfire Happy Hour with a licensed bar available is very enjoyable and you can cook your own camp oven dinner or wood fire BBQ there if you wish. From mid May catered camp oven dinners are also available several nights a week. Amenities are modern and spotless and washing machines clean and in good order. Water is good quality bore water, suitable for filling van tanks if you wish. There are good walks for dogs. We would be happy to return.
