This park is well set out with a great number of cabins all the way around the park. All powered sites are in the middle which would make it hard to get on site if you have a large rig. There is a grassed area they call a park to walk your dog. The Bar-B-Q area is in this "park" and it looks like the Bar-B-Qs have not been cleaned in years. I think $38 for two people in a powered site was a little over the top for what you get.
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Poor value for money $38 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, adequate taps close by. Basic camp kitchen, wireless internet is available. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Dirty UC gas BBQs. Suitable for few days.

Set in an industrial estate and well off highway so very quiet. Park is only 4 years old and although well set out with all sites having slabs, water, power & sullage, the sites are quite narrow and big rigs would struggle to maneuver in peak season. Good modern amenities. Would certainly stay here again.

I was given the last site for the day as the power station was having maintenance carried out. Phone before arrival.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Reasonable value for money $35 for 1A, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Inadequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, very few annex slabs, no sites are shaded. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodafone, reception quality was 4. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- None of these water saving showers - a real shower - wonderful. There must be a bus that takes workers to and from site as there weren't a lot of cars in the morning.

$30 a night for a week long stay, spotless amenities, camp kitchens, grass sites all with slab and very quiet. Optus and Telstra were both 4 bars. The miners cabins were all but empty but the grassy protected park for us in vans had a few staying. For the money imnpossible to beat. We loved out stay.

A relatively new caravan park with excellent amenities blocks. This park appears to have been created for the mining influx in the area but almost ALL the cabins were empty and the place appeared to be like a ghost town.
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $45.50 for 2A 2C PN, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided. Annex slabs to most sites, no sites are shaded. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, no wireless internet available.. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. Clean pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- The gardens and grassed areas behind the cabins around the dam is a great place for kids to stretch their legs. The caravan park also offers evening meals and breakfasts in the dining room (I guess for the workers although guests able to use it).
Local Information:- Some of the local pubs have good meals so check them out.

This is a new caravan park that opened in 2013. It comprises a rows of cabins around the perimeter, with the caravan sites in the middle, around a large amenities block. The amenities are top class, with top quality hand basins, mirrors and electronic soap dispensers. The toilet cubicles are well designed and spacious, as are the shower cubicles. There is a large ensuite type room for mobility impaired persons. Every site has a concrete slab with a gravel pad on which to park the caravan or motor home. The grounds are green and well maintained, but there are very few shade trees. This will change in time as the newly planted trees mature. The laundry is of high quality with new front loading washing machines, although they are expensive at $5 per wash. There is a very well equipped camp kitchen. There is a dining room on site, where you can have breakfast and an evening meal, although I did not partake of it. The tariff was $35 per night, for one adult. There was one tap per site, and a power connection and television aerial point at the rear of each site. Wireless internet access is provided - you ask at reception for the password. You can use your own wifi - Telstra reception was weak with only 1 bar. It would seem that the facility was established primarily to cater for contractors working at the Chinchilla gas fields and power generation stations. The park is suitable for mobility impaired persons.

Brand new park established primarily for miners. As expected of a new park everything was clean and in good order. Powered sites are through the middle of the park with cabins down both sides. Neighbors had a noisy night previously with drunk miners but we had no problems. Expensive dining, all you can eat, friendly staff, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
