We thought this park was a bit expensive at $35/night for a powered site. Some sites are long and narrow and there is grass on some sites which is pleasant. Some other sites are shorter but a bit wider. The amenities are a bit old but everything works well. They have a nice camp kitchen around near the pool. There is a black steel BBQ, kitchen area and a separate TV room with sofas. The park was a quite place to stay.

Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $34 for 2A. Paid $32, reduced for seniors discount. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to some sites. Good laundry, basic rec room, dump point, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting. Clean pool, pool is shaded. Quite a big park beside the highway but very quiet. All sites are level and some have grass. Plenty of room for big rigs. Water & power are handy. Amenities are tired but generally clean. Friendly managers but disappointing to see that dogs are allowed to roam off-leash despite rules to the contrary.

$35 p/n pwd 2A we chose a drive through shaded, but dusty site. Others were lush with grass but had been watered so not available for us overnighters. Amenities very clean, older style great proportioned and very good. Newish looking camp kitchen/rec area was very nice, and pool looked clean and inviting. Shortish stroll into town with good Woolies and bakery. Fuel was cheap at the Puma during our stopover.

Spent 4 days at the Oasis Park. Having stayed at the other park last time, this park was luxury compared to the Discovery. OK maybe the drive thru were dusty but hell Central Qld is in the middle of drought. I had no complaints about the park. Water Pressure was good sullage was OK, power was good and the amenities were good and clean as well. The two dogs and myself enjoyed ourselves no problems at all. There is a great camp kitchen and swimming pool as well, but hey too cold for me. They are right at the front of the premises. There is also a dump point as well. I will stay there again over Discovery anytime.
