We stayed at this Park once again this year on the way North. A clean well run park with friendly staff. They direct you into your site which was very helpful and much appreciated. The sites are large enough and have a slab. Amenities are clean sort of ensuite quite unique ! Friendly atmosphere the Restaurant now open on a limited basis. We always stay here on our way through from "down under" going North and its the first stop for a few days prior to going North and then heading down south again. There is very little if anything negative to say about this park.

Park not associated with any chains. $32 per night powered site. Most sites have annex slabs. Sites are spacious with some shade. Staff are friendly and help you get on to your site. There is a restaurant where they have happy hour each day. You can eat there or they will deliver meals to your site. Red Claw pizza $22. Amenities are clean and coped with a fairly full park. The park also has a swimming pool. Dump point is an old toilet bowl but functional. Walking distance to the lake. TV reception is poor. You can borrow a TV cable fro reception and plug into the park antenna for good reception. $50 deposit refunded when cable returned.

We enjoyed 3 nights in this van park which was Top Tourist (2015 park guide), although no longer Top Tourist, they still offered the discounted price of $31.50 p.n. for 2 people. We can vouch for the pizzas as we had a very tasty red claw one delivered to our van. Drinks from the bar are reasonably priced and we had happy hour on the deck behind the restaurant. A lovely quiet park with great facilities and staff.

An excellent first stop to take a rest after the long journey from down South, Melbourne in our case. Park is well maintained friendly and helpful. Staff there to assist you to park the van. Van sites are large and most have a concrete slab. Its quite and they have log fires in the evening. Facilities are clean and self contained ensuits. Stayed first for two days then extended to five before we headed over to the Coast to Bowen. Will stay there again and can truly recommend this park.
