Manager's name is Travis & Laura
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $29 for 2A PN, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, no rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Good choice of sites. Some shady, some in the open. Dog friendly. Country & western entertainer on Thursday nights. Coffee & cake offered on arrival
Disliked:- Newly renovated showers spoilt by being so cramped. No bench, a few hooks no dry area. Towel & clothes have to draped over the door
Parking:- Enough room for 1 van. Additional vans need to remain on the street
Local Information:- Emerald is the biggest town in the gem fields area. Good spot to restock

Great little park with shady powered sites which include a concrete slab and grassed area on most sites. The managers Laura and Travis and staff where very friendly and Travis showed me to the site and helped me set up. It is a quiet location with very few permanents . The amenities are very clean although not new however the water pressure is good and the showers are hot. The grounds are tidy and well kept . It is a short walk to Emerald CBD and the town is well serviced . There is a new campground which is accessed through the caravan park that caters for people that don't need power and water but have full use of the showers, toilets and laundry facilities for currently $12 pn. (Note that the campground is 7 day max and no generators are allowed also that vehicles must be self contained with regard to grey and black water. There is a Dump point installed in the caravan park near the office, I have stayed at this caravan park multiple times in the last 4 months and every time that I return there are more improvements. The Powered tariff for 2 adults is $27 pn and I would consider this to be good value however there are other deals available for longer term stays. The park is pet friendly and the managers only ask that pets be kept on a lead at all times and for owners to clean up after them. I personally think that this place is the best value for money in Emerald and shall always stay here when in town

Manager's name is Sarah & Werner.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Poor value for money $27,00 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, cleanliness was average, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, kiosk, van parking, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, adequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean gas BBQs. No playground. No pool. Suitable for overnighter.
Liked:- Great hard working friendly managers, BUT they have a long way to go to keep turning this park into an acceptable level for a lot more travelers. A lot quieter that the other two parks in town.
Disliked:- The design and building of almost new amenities block leaves a lot to be desired. I hope the builder didn't get paid for the tiling and water drainage in showers. The park is overpriced at $27 p/n a more reasonable figure would be $20 p/n. Though you can stay for 5 nights and pay for 4. We elected not to stay for that long.
