If you are after an easy no frills place to stay in transit or rest for a few days this is it. Amenities could be better and there is no laundry being a showground but the price is good and it is all relaxed and easy. Manager went out of his way to help with a parking problem we had.

We have never stayed in a Showground before and I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Easy, flat walk into township. Nice welcome from Geoff, the Caretaker. Large, grassy area with lots of space for big rigs. Some powered sites. Good water pressure. 2 x Amenity blocks which are old but clean. Dump point. Poor TV reception but good phone and internet signals (Telstra). Would definitely stay again. We paid.$18.00 per night.

Why would anyone pay $32 plus to stop in a van park along the Bruce highway when for $18 you can stop in the Gin Gin showgrounds. Its quiet, its clean & not crowded, its a short walk up to the shops, & theres lots of space. We will certainly stop here next year going north & coming back south. Kjay

As far as showgrounds go this is probably the best we have stayed at, remembering it has been spruced up for the show. Shower is a bit hard to get right but this is the worst of it. Manager opened community hall for every one to watch state of origin. Good atmosphere and pleased to be one of only two NSW supporters. $18 a night great value.
