Owner/managers Cristo and Ansie who purchased the park "66 days ago" Cristo proudly told the Happy Hour gathering. A small park, some slabs, some drive-thru, shade or not. All sites appeared to be level - ours certainly was. $36 PN. Clean amenity block with good-sized showers, plus another block with unisex shower/toilet rooms. Almost next to the pub that is supposed to make good meals. Only 25 km from Longreach which can be booked out in peak season so many people stay here instead. Although on the highway it was quiet at night.

Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $30 for 2A, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, dump point, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Optus, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.

This is a great park. Spotlessly clean amenities, friendly staff. Some sites are grassed most are on gravel. $34.00 per night powered for 2 adults. Great happy hour. Close enough to see the sights in Longreach. Dump point across the road.
