A very nice park which is well run. Sites are well planned everything that is needed is supplied. A lot of effort has been put into the layout and planning. Very dry at the time of our stay. We will be back suitable for o/night or longer.

Unique caravan park.
Very friendly staff, good staff response to complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is bad / Variable pressure experienced, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, no sites with annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, basic rec room, good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, kiosk, secure entry, van parking, book swap available, no wireless internet available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC gas BBQs fuel costs , congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- This is a unique park in that it was an RAAF Ammunition Dump during WW2. The old underground bunkers are still there and one can be viewed. They are also rebuilding a TAA Super Viscount plane in a hangar on site.
Disliked:- Water pressure is dismal. It is gravity fed, so it isn't real strong.
Parking:- You just drive up the road and as it's one way, there isn't going to be anyone coming the other direction.
Added Touches:- Great happy hour with a roaring fire. The amenities use real cloth hand towels and are very pleasant.
Road Conditions:- Sealed until the park turnoff when it is dirt into the park for about 1 Km.

On arrival staff very rude. Paid for two nights, but were made to feel so unwelcome that we sort a refund & left within one hour.

This quirky and interesting park set in the bush but 1.5 kms off the highway is still a favourite with us. Hats off to owners Julie & David for their continuing hard work. There is now an ex TAA propeller plane installed, about 80% restored! We have visited here 3 times now and we will return. Still only $25 p.n. powered site, the downside is only borewater through the taps, so come prepared.

Their latest attraction, a TAA Viscount aeroplane to be used as accommodation is almost complete. All other previous comments still apply.
