This place is small and many of the sites are very small and only suitable for a vehicle. We booked a large site but were allocated only a medium site and the van only just fitted on the site. We had to move our vehicle to access the fridge in the back of the ute due to all the trees around the area where the car needed to be parked. Some other sites had the car parked across the road from the site. There are a couple of larger sites for big rigs but if you want one of these sites you need to be clear with management when booking. The amenities are basic and clean, there are only 3 toilets and 3 showers in each amenity. They are in the process of installing toilet cubicles around the park to provide extra toilet facilities but be careful, I got locked into the cubicle and had to call out for someone to open the door so I could get out of the cubicle. Phone reception was 4G and TV was good but we could not get Channell 10. There is no dump point at this park or town and the nearest dump point is Malanda or Ravenshoe. We thought Malanda was a nicer caravan park than this park.

The park owner managers are very helpful. They have only owned the park for 3 years and are doing a lot of improvements. It is only a small park with a beautiful rainforest setting, Great for the grey nomads and birdwatchers I would definately stay again
Very friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $30 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, van parking, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 3. Quiet, adequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. No playground. Clean pool. Suitable for few days, suitable for families, well maintained park, park is considered kid-safe.
Liked:- Friendly and very helpful owner managers.Very quiet in a rainforest setting, bird watching, and the resident tree kangaroo
Disliked:- Better night lighting
Local Information:- Waterfalls and beautiful scenery

This small park is pet friendly and within walking distance of the village, pub and café. The owners are friendly and offer excellent tourist information and self drive tour plans. We had a pleasant grassed site tucked into the rainforest surrounds, quiet and well screened. The amenities and laundry are clean and well maintained and sufficient for the size of the park. The pool appears to be excellent. There is a basic free gas BBQ and camp kitchen. We used Telstra with no problems. It is a good base for a few days to explore the World Heritage Wet Tropical Rainforest Area. The Mungalli Dairy Café and cheese and yoghurt factory is not to be missed! We would stay again.
