$10 for an unpowered site and $15 for powered with many sites on flat grass. This is the best value, for a park, that I have seen. It is run by volunteers who are enthusiastic and do a great job. The showers are spotlessly cleaned and well designed. How rare! Park occupants have spent over $60,000 (receipted) in Ravenshoe in 7 months. This park is often full but you cannot book in advance so arrive early in peak season.

This is a very popular park so if you want a powered site you need to arrive early. It costs only $15/night for power and $10/night unpowered. The park is located at the steam railway centre but the train is not operating. The care takers are very friendly and make damper daily for happy hour. There is no sullage for your grey water so they provide large buckets and you are meant to empty the bucket at the front of the park into a grey water disposal dump point. Most people ignored this requirement and emptied the bucket at their site. The sites are grassy and very few have shade. The sites are also quite narrow so it is a bit jammed on top of one another in this place. There are a few toilets and showers in several areas of the park near the station. The park is a short walk to town where there are 2 pubs that do meals. The dump point is 700m up the road from the park. TV and internet work at this park. Dogs are allowed.
