This is a nice park to stay at. The sites are reasonably large and the park grounds are well maintained. Some sites have good shade. There are cement slabs at some sites. It cost $32/night for power. There is a large camp kitchen with lots of character that has a free stainless steel BBQ. There are other BBQ's scattered around and some have steel plates. The amenities could do with some renovating - the male showers have been renovated. There is a lot of clothes lines around the park so getting washing dried is easy in good weather. TV and phone reception are good. There is a pool with a slide and also a lagoon at one end of the park that has water birds in it. You can hear the trains in the distance but this is not an issue at night when sleeping as the trains are in the distance. We would stay here again if looking for somewhere to stay in Rockhampton.

We stayed here for over a week on our way north, and we have returned for four nights on our way south. It is our favourite park in the Rockhampton region, the Discovery is the only other one we would return to, but this is better value.

Liked:- The billabong, the bird life, the tropical well kept grounds and the swimming pool in a country setting with a Woolies just up the road - it doesn't get much better than this.
Disliked:- They need to provide an info sheet on park and its layout and facilities/attractions for park and region,
Local Information:- Gracemere shops and pub just up the road, Rockhampton just 10 minutes drive.

A little disappointed with this park, it has a magnificent entry with lovely gardens but not so wonderful once you get down the driveway, our welcome at reception was just ok, expensive at $32 p.n., had our site pointed out to us where being shown onto our site would have been nice ( not busy) & the site required a fair amount of to and fro and get on. Has a concrete slab, DTV is a bit touchy, Telstra internet is only 1 or 2 bars. No literature given apart from our receipt. Don't think we will be back.

What a lovely little park this is. Roomy sites, very clean amenities, nice pool, friendly staff. We only had 2 nights here but would certainly come back and favor here over Rockhampton parks in future.

Poor value for money at $30.00 for 2A p/n powered. Amenities were mostly poorly maintained and average cleanliness [most female toilets were without toilet paper, communal shower drains, no dry area in shower cubicles]. Some showers had been retiled. Not a lot to recommend about this park.

Acc. Cost 14 nights - $378 Owners - Pat and Rebecca (owned Park around 14 years) Park - A large park with most sites being very spacious with slabs and easy access. There are no cabins but there are a few permanents who are basically in a separate area of the park. The Park has lots of trees and lush greenery and while there is no camp kitchen as such, there are two covered gas BBQ areas (free) and a very well set out pool area. All sites seemed level and Pat assisted most newcomers on to their sites. There are two amenities blocks, both including laundry facilities, and they were spotless on our visit. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. They are strict with their rules and actually enforce them, which we found to be a good thing. The Park allows pets but there are basic common sense rules to follow (such as picking up droppings). We believe this to be one of the best Parks that we have visited to date. The Park is a short drive to the Gracemere Shopping area and only ten minutes from Rockhampton. (although there were extensive road works happening on our visit) There is some occasional freight train and aeroplane noise but it is minimal and never worried us. Features – Rockhampton Botanical Gardens and Zoo, Kershaw Gardens, Mount Archer, Fitzroy River Walk, Heritage Buildings, Mount Morgan. (Yepoon is an easy 40k drive away.)
