Good basic no frills park. Closest decent park to Carnarvon Gorge if traveling with a dog. This park fills up each night & empties out each morning. So depending on arrival time its either quiet or busy.
No complaints, staff helped us at the site, staff explained park layout and facilities. Very good value for money $26 for 2A PN, powered, peak season. Amenities are close to all sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, no rec room, no camp kitchen, late checkout allowed, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. No BBQs. No playground. No pool. Suitable for few days, well maintained park.
Liked:- Spacious sites. Modern spacious showers. Friendly hardworking managers, TV cable offered. Grounds were all hardstand (bluemetal/tarred). So there was no dust or mud.
Disliked:- Only 2 male toilets, so there might be a queue if busy. No dump point but public one just down the road.
Local Information:- Carnarvon Gorge (100km away) is a must if in this area. But you will need multiple days to see it all. And there is no fuel at Carnarvon Gorge. Local transaction center (info center) very helpful

Great caravan park...very personal and very quiet at night. Booked in last night 15/6/2015. Got a prime position and what a great small personal caravan park. Paid my fees of $26:00 and had a great overnight stay. A very small but top little town and its in the middle of nowhere and the caravan park will look after you greatly. Not much in town, but great little caravan. There is no dump point, but the park is well managed and is very clean and well maintained TV is supplied by caravan cable if required,or you can receive Channel 2 and SBS, but if you have satellite TV then no worries at all. Water and power is excellent, grey water to keep the grass grown

Some concrete slabs but mostly gravel. Dog friendly and very clean facilities. Public laundry. High speed front loaders $5, top load washers $4 and dryers $2. No dump point in park however public dump point is approx 100 metres from the caravan park. Water pressure is average however remember they are in drought here. No washing of cars or caravans etc. public washing facility close by. Walking distance to general store, service station, hardware and pub. Happy hour at the pub between 5.30pm and 6.30pm with $2 pots. Please come and support this town.
