This Big 4 takes dogs. Impressive amenities, big and clean. First site was next to stagnant pond, but I asked to move to a beachfront site. Cost an extra $5 but was worth it.

As reported by others, nice big park, grass sites. Great pool and facilities are excellent. Grass sites are looking a bit tired at the end of a busy season but will no doubt come back when it rains. Not much to do if you don't fish or sunbathe. Friendly staff, we will return.

This is an excellent park as indicated by other reviews - we agree with what they have said. The purpose of this comment is to reassure dog owners that this Big4 really is dog friendly - there are areas of the park where dogs can't be walked but there are plenty of places where they can and they are nice too.

Excellent large park. Extra friendly staff who explained park layout. All large grass sites with plenty of room to move. Some price conscious may think it is a bit pricey at 36 bucks a night (pow 2A) after Big4 discount for a beachfront site as a beachfront site is 5 bucks more than a normal site, but that 5 bucks more is well worth it just relaxing and watching the tide come in and out whilst reading a book on a pleasant 28 degree heat day. One of the best pools we have come across. An excellent BBQ area. Amenities blocks were clean, but have had better showers and would have no hope at all of coping at peak time. 2 dump points. No playground or anything to amuse the kids. A very well maintained which would be suitable from a couple of days to a couple of months. Tip on getting to the park approaching from the south. Follow the signs along the road. Do not listen to Navman.
