Roma Gun Club is still very good value compared to the park in Roma($25).Very clean and tidy, some sites on bitumen, some on stones.Amenities very clean and tidy. The club does a meal on Thursday nights(I think) for a small cost.We have stayed here every year when heading north and nothing has changed over many years.

Roma Gun Club is one of the leading and largest clay target clubs in Australia which has opened it's facilities to caravan and camping. Members are very helpful and can't do enough for you. Dog friendly and although sites are in asphalt there are concrete ties for you to tie your awning down. Powered sites are $25 for 2A and there are acres of land for unpowered camping. Stay 3 nights and get 4th night free. Modern clean amenities, fully fenced playground for children, undercover area and open deck, quiet tranquil location with beautiful sunsets. Only 3kms from Roma central. No dump point, closest about 3kms from the park at the public facility near the railway station. Everyone friendly. TV, mobile and Internet reception. $5 all you can eat sausage sizzles put on by members and campers on Thursday nights. Fully licensed bar is open on this night. No laundry facility but they do have a clothes line if you have your own washing machine. Kevin the caretaker is helpful and friendly and John who waters the lawns will always stop for a chat and a cuppa if offered. Quiet and roomy. Highly recommend. You do not need to have a gun licence to stay here.
