A bush park shaded by big gum trees that dripped a coloured sap on our car (wouldn't wash off but it faded off eventually). At $39 p/n powered for 2A less TT discount a bit expensive we thought. Lots of midges and flies but to be expected given the location. 2 amenities blocks which were very clean and a lovely pool, shaded in the afternoon. Very little provision as a camp kitchen, but there was a good laundry. Fish cleaning section, right near laundry, stank! Private track out the back of park to walk to the beach is a bit arduous and rough but beach looked nice, but in a stinger zone

This is a nice bushy park set amongst large trees. There were goannas, bush turkeys and lots of birds resident in the park. The amenity blocks are a reasonable standard. There is a dump point, pool, café and it is an 800m walk down a dirt road to the beach. The sites were a reasonable size - some were long and a bit narrow and others were shorter and quite wide and large. There were cement slabs at some cites. We could not get TV reception so used our satellite dish. There is a small camp kitchen and when we left on a long week end the bins were in need of emptying as they were quite smelly. It was a nice quite park to stay at as many of the sites are away from the road.

Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $58 for 2A 2C PN, powered, peak season. Paid $52.20, reduced for Chain Discount. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, dry change area. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, shade to most sites, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by. Good laundry, no rec room, basic camp kitchen, kiosk. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, no permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere. Clean pool. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- We liked that it was a quiet park with beach access.
Local Information:- Make sure you book into the Town of 1770 LARC Tours - especially the sunset tour.

Liked:- Park was quiet.

Local Information:- It is a short drive to the beach of 1770.
