Site costs vary on length of stay. Love the park but the big disappointment is the level of cleanliness in the amenities. For the amount of time the cleaners are in 'attendance' at the amenities - about an hour each M/F - they should be very clean. Instead there is no sign or smell of cleaning products being used, and a hose out (toilet paper holders and all on some days), wipe of the basins doesn't clean. Discarded soap and razors remain day after day, and soiled rubber shower mats hung on clothes hooks. Internal bins not emptied daily and smoking outside the amenities should be banned as it flues straight into the amenities but not necessarily back out again adding to the stale smell in there. There are several non-ensuited cabins that use amenities also, so they do get a fair amount of people through them and cleaning needs to be stepped up.
Average staff friendliness, no complaints. Good value for money, powered, off-peak season. Amenities are close to most sites, were dirty, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet. Clean UC electric BBQs, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Good playground. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for a week or more.
Liked:- The grounds are very well maintained with a little row of shrubs to divide most sites. Lawns and palms spick and span. Just far enough away from seafront to mitigate adverse weather conditions but close enough to walk to. Aerial cable available and plugged in at most sites providing excellent tv.
Disliked:- Cleanliness of amenities detracts from this park
Parking:- Lots of garden renovation work going on around entry so it may change, but very good pull in area well off road. Watch the low clearance on entry though.

Van scraped on road entering & exiting park. Good parking on arrival. On backing into ensuite site it was wrong way around, I could not see concrete slab so a lot of back and forth. Ensuite small but clean. Site pretty level and not too close to others. Laundry good and it was quiet here. A quick walk to the sea or eating on the esplanade or even a walk around the lake next door. A good place to stay for quite a while. Lots of shopping and places to see. We bought the biggest prawns I have ever seen, monsters. Yes I would book again, but that scraping on the van/road, not happy. But my van is low.
