A warning at reception about high water pressure was correct. If your hose fittings are poor quality, they will fail. It is a substantial uphill walk to the amenities if you are at the back of the park.

Amenities are close to only some sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, soap provided, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, some unlevel sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, very few sites are shaded, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, wireless internet is available is free, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Vodaphone, reception quality was 3. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, a few permanent/annual vans. Basic playground, in average condition. No pool. Suitable for few days.

This park is suitable for overnight or stays of a week or more. The amenities while a bit dated are always clean and tidy. The sites are at the back of the Park and there is very little traffic noise. The main thing that we liked is that the boom gate is always up during the day and only closed at night. This is a great idea as it is nearly impossible to punch in gate codes when towing a van. There is a shopping centre nearby and Maccas etc are close by. Recommend this park. Would stay again.

Overnighted here on a Sunday night. Office was closed but caretaker on duty to check-in. This was done promptly with consideration of best site for our situation. Good size sites and ours was convenient to amenities. Park is on side of hill and and terraced so sites are level with concrete pads, some double. Amenities in good condition, clean and spacious. Some sites may be some distance from amenities. Close to good shopping centre and lots of take away type food places and a hotel. On New England Highway but noise was not an issue for us. Good walking paths and park area adjacent to bottom of the park. Overall we found this park to be quite comfortable with the amenities we required. Would use again for overnight or if staying in Toowoomba for a few days.

Over night stay only - the site allocated may be been one of the largest on site. Amenities were very clean and huge. Shopping centre close by. We would return when next in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights, an enjoyable stay despite the much needed rain for much of the stay. Good friendly welcome at reception. We did not book, but were given a good site, double slab, plenty of room. As mentioned in previous reports, the park is on a hill but it is all terraced and sites are level. Was quite busy during our stay. Good size amenities and kept clean. Close to major shopping centres in both directions. Next to BP servo and a string of fast food outlets, but you wouldn't know it. Very peaceful during our stay. Agree with other contributors..enter from the South. Lovely open parkland adjoin the rear of the park. Would not hesitate to return.

Another TT park that ticks most of the boxes. It was easy to get on site the staff were helpful and the park is highly recommended. My only comment would be that with only one amenities block some site have a fairly long walk.

Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to most sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, basic rec room, basic camp kitchen, dump point, secure entry, you can use your mobile, wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 4. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade, a few permanents. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, dismal bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Basic playground, in poor condition. No pool. Suitable for a week or more, well maintained park.
Liked:- Well organised, and easy to get on site.
Disliked:- The park is on a hill and the sites are terraced, meaning the roadways have significant bumps as you go up and down the entrance.

We stayed here 3 years ago and there was a lot of messy permanents. The park has had a big cleanup and has made the park an enjoyable one to stay at. Everyone has been friendly. I witnessed a laundry rage - washing machines these take 30mins - make sure you are there when its finished or your washing will be taken out for the next person to use.

Large park, not bad value for money. 32 bucks (powered 2A). As others have said, best to enter the park from the south. Maybe I caught the woman at reception on a bad moment as have had much better welcomes. Good sized roomy sites all with a double slab making it easy to get on and off. Clean amenities with OK showers, however a fair walk for quite a few sites. Average camp kitchen BBQ area. Dump point. Apart from a playground, not much to keep the little tackers amused. A park this size (esp. in Qld) should have least a pool. Close to major shopping center and all major fast food outlets.
