We had to stay at this park as the rest were booked out. Just lets say it was a place to stop and that's all. The site we were given was half a mud pool. Sorry not a good park.
Average staff friendliness, bad staff response to complaints. Poor value for money $30.00 for 2A PN, powered. Amenities are close to only some sites, were dirty, condition is poor, water pressure is good, soap provided. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, shade to some sites, drive-through sites, hard to negotiate into site, adequate taps close by. Quiet, claustrophobic park, adequate shade. Dirty pool. Suitable for overnighter.

Typical dusty outback park which is understandable since they are still in drought conditions. However we stayed here about 8 years ago and the park conditions have deteriorated since then. Amenities are old and tired. Still suitable for a couple of days as it is on a par with the other parks in the town.
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff helped us at the site. Good value for money $30 for 2A, powered. Amenities are close to all sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, no sites with annex slabs, shade to most sites, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Poor laundry. Quiet, open & roomy park, adequate shade.

We cannot comprehend the write up of caravan parks and what they provide only to arrive and none of what is mentioned in brochures is correct. Some these sites were grassed but had big ruts in them, that it was quite dangerous walking on grass.
Friendly staff, average staff response to complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Poor value for money $30.00 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, cleanliness was average, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation. Adequate number of tourist sites, some level sites, poor night lighting, sites will accommodate large motorhomes and 5th wheelers, very few annex slabs, very few sites are shaded, hard to negotiate into site, poor water quality, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Basic laundry, no rec room, no wireless internet available., you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 2. Quiet, claustrophobic park, inadequate shade, a few permanents. No BBQs. Basic playground, in average condition. Clean pool, tables and chairs provided, spa available. Suitable for few days.
Disliked:- Extremely small sites, our van and another one were cramped in one site, so awnings were not able to come out. The water smelt like rotten eggs. But was told this is what most artesian water is like.
Parking:- just inside the park.
Added Touches:- Entertainment every night. 3 course meal for $20.
Local Information:- The Arno wall is worth a visit, along with the musical fence. The children will love this. There is also a good bakery with hot bread baked daily. It is open from 6am every day.
Road Conditions:- Lots of road works from Longreach. Quite bumpy in sections. Lots of road kill on road. Care needs to be taken.

Not a bad park at 29 bucks (powered 2a) per night. Friendly staff who showed us to our site and offered assistance getting onto the site if required. Good size sites with plenty of room to move. Half the sites have heaps of shade whilst others have none. Amenities were OK but clean. Clean Pool. Average BBQ area. Dump Point. Nothing else to amuse the Kids. In such a dry part of the world credit must be given at the attempt to keep grass etc. green. A well maintained park.
