What a little gem this park is! Right on the Gulf, it is absolutely quiet except for the sound of the waves. It is adjacent to the hotel, the foreshore park and the mini mart/ cafe. It is 1km from a very modern boat ramp and a 1km stroll from the post office. At $29/ night (2A, Pwd Site) it is good value. All sites are level and most sites are grassed with concrete slabs. Many sites are shaded. With the exception of the laundry, the amenities block is in good condition and very clean. Barbecues are available but the park could do with a covered barbecue area and camp kitchen. The staff go out of their way to make sure guests have a good stay. Kayaks and sand dune boards can be borrowed free of charge and should you be staying for a couple of weeks in June or July a free fishing trip can be arranged. The fire is lit in the rec shed every night, a BBQ is held most Saturday nights and weather permitting pancakes are cooked on Sunday morning. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I'm sure we'll be back.
