$35 p/n pwd 2A. $31.50 with FP discount. Great location, central to town and secure. BYO water with sullage to garden. Sites under the awnings are stacked in a bit tight, we were in the back section, with a gravel unshaded site but had room for our awning and a little tree between us and the next van. Easy to negotiate into, and there are some drive through centered sites in this gravelled area. 2 amenities blocks, both very clean and good. 20c for 3 min shower. Dump point. Great TV, Telstra and Optus reception. Didn't check out the pool and rec room. Town IGA is still great, with unusual foodstuffs and very reasonably priced.

A reasonable park but be aware there is no water available. Showers are 20 cents for 3 minutes. There is a water station in town which operates just like a petrol station for you to fill your water tanks at a cheap price.

We have stayed in Coober Pedy on many occasions when in the area. Paid $35 less 10% disc. No water hook-up to vans. Ablutions and laundry spotless. No dump point. As you come into the town opposite the shell service station there is a dump point. You can fill your water tanks for 20cents for 30litres of water. Average tanks would cost about 50cents. There is a great bakery behind the tavern in next street near the roundabout. The baker only bakes a limited amount of bread. but his pies and cakes are yum.

I really liked this park and would certainly recommend it. It is in the desert so don't expect grass, and I doubt that you could drive a stake in to secure your tent. There are a couple of permanents and there are some sites undercover, which would be a good thing in the hot weather. It will take big rigs and has a number of drive through. Previous reports so far in 2014 are accurate in describing the place. One comment I would make is why spend all that money on the new ablutions and not put in a hand dryer or at least paper towels?
