Park has had some work since we were here 5 years ago and the amenities have been refurbished and were in good condition and clean. Showers are 20c for each 2 minutes. Sites are mostly drive through but on many you do have to unhook, no water hookup available (like all Coober Pedy parks) but you can fill tanks as you enter/leave the park for a small fee. All sites are gravel. The park used to have a swimming pool but it has closed due to permanent water restrictions. Park has a pizza restaurant on site.

Another Big4. Very nice entry building and motel complex at the front. There is a bar and pizza restaurant also. The caravan park is at the rear. Sites seem to be compacted rock. Little shade. There is no water to sites. Water can be purchased at the park entrance or from pumps in town. We had booked ahead. When we arrived the staff seemed uninterested. No site had been allocated to us. We were told to go out and find a site. The inner circle is drive thru. Effectively they are putting 2 vans on one site. No room to extend your awning. The outer circle has room to extend your awning and park your car. No staff assistance offered finding a site. We didn't extend our awning and wound up with a young family on the edge of our site as they could not find anywhere to set up their camper trailer. The sullage system doesn't work so water just pours onto the ground. The amenities are fairly new but poorly cleaned. I don't think the management inspect the place from one month to another. Camp kitchen is fully enclosed with TV. There is NO night lighting. Not the sort of Big4 I expect. The town and surrounding areas are worth visiting.
